Eyden Villarreal & Co.
This is my biggest project yet! Eyden Villarreal & Co. is the concept of a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting youth over the course of a summer and providing them with the means to create, organize, or start something that proves youth can make a change in their communities.
With the help of some friends, teachers, and mentors, I've been able to have this project operate as a "non-profit". It's still just a student project, but I hope one day it will become something bigger.
Youth-led blog
My second project I'd like to show off is my youth-led blog. As part of the Eyden Villarreal & Co. family, it's dedicated to collecting stories from youth. This project is still in it's launch phase so as of now there are only two stories! You can still check them out tho!
Youth reach
The third project I'd like to talk about is Youth Reach! Youth Reach is still in its developmental phase, but in short, it is a network of professionals (mentors) who donate their time to supporting the youth of Eyden & Co. by providing mentorship in their area of expertise.
The plan is to have a large catalog of mentors, so in this way, youth can pick someone they relate to or someone whose profession they like to pursue.
